This course focuses on developing strategies for integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) in the elementary school curriculum.  Preservice teachers will work with a wide range of materials  -- Legos, wood, cameras, computers, and more -- to design, build, and test everything from self-propelled cars to animated gifs. We will explore how such project-based learning activities can be used in classrooms to foster innovation, collaboration, and creativity.
